SERVICES - Terms of Service

Our Business Philosophy
We at Aloeye Web Productions engage in a full disclosure approach in doing business. This is why our Terms of Service policy is prominently accessible on our site. In other words we do not like "surprises" any more than any one else does. This protects you and lets you know what to expect from us.

We try to cover all the "What if" scenarios the best we can in this section, and welcome any questions you may have regarding our policies.

The most fundamental principle we operate by is:

With that established, by using our services at Aloeye Web Productions you accept and agree to the following terms of service:

Basics
After our initial meeting(s), we give you a development quote to consider. A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total quote is required before the new project will begin. Upon satisfactory completion of your website we require the 60% balance. This balance is due within 14 days after work is complete. "Complete" is defined as the website is completed to your satisfaction, fully functional, and available for public viewing. Hosting and domain name registration and renewals are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another hosted site owned by the customer, on review.

Customer Project Nonparticipation
If development work is stopped due to developer waiting on additional materials supplied by the customer for over 30 days after work has started, barring a customer emergency communicated to us, we reserve the right to bill as completed work.

Project Cancellation
If either party wishes to cancel a project after the deposit is received on any project, this must be done in writing or via e-mail. If a project is canceled, developer reserves the right to bill hourly for time spent on all work done.

Customer Project Abandonment
If a customer abandons a project after paying the deposit and work begins, we will make every reasonable attempt to contact the customer. If a customer does not proceed with the project the 40% deposit is non-refundable, and depending upon the amount of work done on the project at the point of abandonment, we reserve the right to bill a final invoice for a portion of, or the whole project.

Copyright
Copyright for original design work that is in progress, will belong to Aloeye Web Productions until completion and the final payment is received. At that time the copyright of the website will belong to the customer. At no time will Aloeye Web Productions accept materials that are copyrighted unless a release or license is purchased from the copyright owner. If customer supplies Aloeye Web Productions with copyrighted materials, all responsibly shall be upheld by the customer.

Authorship
We respectfully request that authorship credit in the name of Aloeye Web Productions, shall accompany design work at the bottom of the page(s), in the form of a minimal text link to our homepage.

Payment Services
Any payments that are rejected as returned check will be considered most serious and must be reconciled immediately. Un-reconciled, Refused, late or overdue Payments may result in the site being suspended and removed. 

Renewals - Domain Names & Hosting
Renewals must be paid advance to insure the services remain uninterrupted. 

Payments
Aloeye Web Productions accepts, checks, money orders, cash, and Pay Pal.

Restrictions of Use - Domain and Hosting Services
All sites hosted with Aloeye Web Productions, must be family friendly and will not contain foul language, pornography, slander, not be illegal in nature, and not participate in spam.
